There is nowhere in the world that one can declare total
safety either from man made events or natural disasters.
A part of the world will always be fighting some sort of
wars, and another part of the world will always be
attempting to defend itself against some sort of
atmospheric phenomena's.

One will never understand why another would choose to
live where they live, but yet it's simple to understand, it's
their home on this side of glory. Its been said that there is
no place like home, but in truth this world is not our home
nor was it ever intended to be. We are all travelers
through this world as we prepare to move to a place not
made with hands.

I'm not defending our choice to rebuild in the City of New
Orleans, but I am defending our right to do so. JESUS said
that in this world we as believers would suffer trials and
tribulations, so HE advised us to be of good cheer
because even as HE did we to shall overcome the world
.

Our recovery as is the recovery of everything in the area
is difficult at best. We were forced to move out of our
targeted area due to the lack of available places that is fit
to be rehabilitated at this time.

We've lost a major part of the membership some of which
have relocated to different states. The remnant however
is faithful and willing to press on with the vision of
Promise Land in mind.

We have gone from lease to lease agreement and now
PRAISE GOD, for HE has blessed us to purchase a place
that we may call home.

Looking back through time we clearly understand the
difficulties of Noah's generation. The mere absence of
friends, family, and the loss relationships that would not
have otherwise suffered. The good news is as in Noah's
day the waters receded and mankind did replenish the
earth, and likewise this area.

Through it all I thank GOD for sparing us, for increasing
our faith, and extending us grace and mercy. Every day
will I bless HIM; and will I praise HIS name forever and
ever.

I look forward and I see Promised Land filled with laborers
that cannot be blown or washed away. I thank GOD and
praise GOD in advance for the victory that is already ours.
I encourage you to join us in prayer and in giving GOD all
the glory. I vision us not as we are but as we will be,
being knowledgeable that the blessings of the LORD
maketh rich and adds no sorrow.

So as I stand in this bleak intersection of life's road, I
point toward the LORD acknowledging that HE alone is a
great burden bearer. HE'S able to lift us up because HE is
great beyond discovery, and does mighty acts across
generations.

Thank you for bearing this burden with us and know that
Promised Land is not a person, it's a vision which means
it will live and not die. It is also a prevailing kingdom
which means the gates of hell
SHALL not prevail against it.

Yours with the love of CHRIST
