PROMISED LAND MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH

The Promised Land Missionary Baptist Church is a Word and love-centered
ministry designed to evangelize the lost at any cost, equip and empower the people
of God, and provide five-star ministry to our community as well as the world.

Endeavoring to minister to the total man, we intend to be a multi-ethnic, multi-
cultural ministry impacting a hurting world with the love of Jesus Christ.

We are committed to the spirit of excellence, as we strive to become an oasis of
providing education, empowerment, as well as financial independence.

We embrace freedom in worship because the Word says,” Where the Spirit of the
Lord is there is liberty.” Our foundation is the Word of God as we believe in its
entirety.

The Promised Land Missionary Baptist Church will distinguish itself as a leader in
the ministry and in the community in the 21st century, and will be recognized for
the passion and excellence of its membership in meeting the needs of the
congregation and the community.

We believe that training and education are central to the core mission of any
church organization. The church must train clergy, credential holders and the laity,
if it is to effectively minister to the needs of our changing society. The church’s
teaching ministry also includes a concern for the intellectual, moral, spiritual, and
social development of children, as they move from infancy into adulthood. Likewise
the future of the church is tied to the perpetuation of sound, spiritually inspired
doctrine and to its membership in the Universal Body of Christ.

The sum of our mission is to provide mankind with the hope of Jesus Christ by the
message of redemption. Because of the lack of knowledge men are in prison and on
drugs with no hope. The bible teaches and we believe that where Jesus abides, evil
cannot. Men are misdirected not because they plan to fail, but because they fail to
plan. Therefore the Promised Land Missionary Baptist Church intends to be a pillar
in society. We intend to do our part in changing our community and our world with
active programs to meet the needs of all mankind.
